Lullaby for Grandma

Inna Gamazkova's book "Lullaby for Grandma" complements the series "The Reader Was Born" with extraordinarily tender and soothing poems about grandma, a train, an unusual kvac-apartment, seemingly from a dream, as well as humorous poems about a fork, spoon, pie, and delightful playful verses about "the poplar - that coat" and "the wind-helicopter guys." It can be taken on a walk in the park, where you can look for "poplar kids" with your child, watch the flight of the seed-flyers, and ponder whether the ash tree is clear.
Pastel illustrations by Ekaterina Lavrentieva create an atmosphere of childhood, dreams, and fairy tales, making the book's space extraordinarily cozy - so much so that neither the child nor the adult will want to leave it.
Like all books in the series, "Lullaby for Grandma" is made of thick cardboard with rounded edges, making it possible to touch, stroke, and even taste it.
