Board Game - Home

"Home" is a board game designed for a company of 2 to 4 girls aged seven years and older (7+). Each girl will one day become the mistress of her own little world – a home! Many girls in their imagination picture a magical image of their future adult life, with a handsome prince, the most beautiful wedding dress, and the house of their dreams, where they will be mistresses and engage in its arrangement, decoration, and filling it with warmth and comfort.

The game "Home" will allow young princesses to start embodying this cherished dream right now and, in a playful manner, tackle the arrangement of their dream home by solving various household tasks and making different decisions. What will be in their house: a laundry room or a garage? Big or small rooms? Will they hire a handyman or manage by themselves? Are the rooms spacious enough, and is there enough space for furniture? The board game "Home" is a competition for the best, coziest, and most beautiful house!

The game lasts 12 rounds. In each round, players finish rooms and fill them with furniture. Each participant receives a home tablet and a reminder before the game starts. Two decks of cards are involved in the game: resource cards and room cards. Young hostesses place room and resource cards on the tablet. Then, the first participant of the game takes their chosen column of cards (one room and one resource) and places it in their home, according to the placement rules. There are also specific rules for different types of resources (detailed in the instructions). Rooms can be expanded horizontally to gain more points. Each room has a maximum size. A room that has reached its maximum size or has an arrangement token is considered complete. It cannot be expanded further. After the 12th round, each hostess will have 12 rooms in their house.

Now it's time to calculate the value of the house in points and account for bonuses for the courier, handyman, and roofer. The girls earn points for rooms, roofs, furnishings, and the convenience of their home. The winner is the hostess who has scored the most points. In the event of a tie, the girls start looking for children in their houses. Whoever has the most children in their house is declared the winner! The game develops imagination and strategic thinking.
