The book will be interesting for both girls and boys. From the tales about a girl Shusha and her mammoth, young readers will learn:
- How to behave properly at the table and as a guest.
- What an image is and why a neat appearance is important.
- How to communicate politely with peers and adults.
- Why it is important to be a polite and well-mannered person.
And much, much more.
The Encyclopedia in Fairy Tales «Etiquette» will show children how pleasant it is to deal with a tactful, polite person and how difficult it can be to talk to a wild and rude one.
Remembering all the rules of behavior at once is not easy, but it is important to grasp the main point: one should not hurt anyone by word or deed, communication should be aimed at establishing friendly contact and preventing conflicts. The foundations of etiquette rules are qualities such as naturalness, tact, moderation, informality, self-respect, politeness, and kindness.
How to study with this book:

- Discuss the heroes' behavior with the child, what they did right and what they did wrong.
- Study the rules and try to remember them.
- Complete assignments with the child to reinforce the material covered.
Tips for Parents
Children need to be taught etiquette from an early age by example. Communicate politely with each other and with the child, behave properly at the table, as guests, in public, and be attentive to those around you. The child will perceive such behavior as the norm, because small children tend to imitate adults.
The most important thing in raising a child is to be patient and not raise your voice. Perhaps the little one won't immediately understand the unfamiliar rules, but that is no reason to give up and become upset. The example of other family members and kindness will help them adapt faster and learn to behave properly.
