Russian Freemasonry

Freemasonry is one of the most closed and mysterious systems, linking its history to deep antiquity. A strict hierarchy, insularity, the preservation of brotherhood secrets, and the mandatory observance of rituals make Masonic lodges subjects of speculation and contribute to the creation of numerous legends. What is true and what is fiction is what the authors of the proposed book, leading historians of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, are trying to clarify. The collection introduces the origins of Russian Freemasonry, the essence of multifaceted Masonic teachings, and various Masonic organizations. To understand Masonic attributes and symbolism, the book is accompanied by a variety of illustrative materials that define the spirit of the rituality that accompanied Masonic teachings.
