Sasha Chernuy - a Russian poet of the Silver Age, prose writer, and journalist, who gained wide recognition as the author of lyrical satirical poetic feuilletons.

Readers memorized his poems by heart, they were quoted by Mayakovsky himself, and the authorities were so afraid of his biting language that they confiscated the print runs of magazines where his works were published.

The poetic satire of Sasha Chernuy remains sharp and relevant even today.
