Commune.

"The commune has become history." Thus begins her book by Louise Michel - French revolutionary, teacher, writer, poetess, anarchist. She was an active participant in the Paris Commune of 1871, on the barricades of which she earned the nickname "The Red Virgin of Montmartre." The reader immerses themselves in a realistic and artistic reproduction of scenes of the struggle for freedom, with detailed descriptions of the fates of all the characters and of Louise herself. Emotional yet historically authentic memoirs allow one to find themselves there, in 1871, alongside those who had the courage to defend their right to be citizens.
