Radio Morok

«Let's go on a crazy road trip», – joked dad. What a jinx! And now he is somewhere unknown with the broken car, while mom, Inka, and Lesya are in a strange, seemingly abandoned village, where everything is thickly overgrown with weeds and covered with moss. In the tall grass, there are toads the size of cats, and near each gate stand mysterious figures resembling garden scarecrows, with empty faces. There is no internet, television, or phone here, but the radio works. The old receiver buzzes all day with different voices, telling stories that are scarier than the last, intoxicating, luring, bewildering. Oh, what will happen at night?
