Board game - Encyclopedia. Grand Journey

The expedition of Count de Buffon continues! But how could it not continue when so many talented and inquisitive minds have joined the expedition? The encyclopedia is filled with new discoveries, and this time the naturalists will be taken even further – into the habitat of animals, many of which were considered myths.

About the expansion

The expansion "Grand Journey" makes the "Encyclopedia" even more variable! It brings into the game 3 modules that expand the base game, making your upcoming journeys even more unpredictable: cards of new events will present you with challenging trials, for overcoming which you will be generously rewarded, and a set of new experts with their unique bonuses will allow you to implement new strategies on the road to victory. And, of course, new animal cards are essential – strange and legendary creatures are waiting for you to embark on their search!

"Encyclopedia" is a board game with a low entry threshold, so that even the most novice board gamer can master it, while the depth of gameplay remains high. Beautiful illustrations that adorn almost every component of the game will allow players to feel the atmosphere of adventures and consider themselves true naturalists. Try to collect the most unique collection of animals and gain recognition from the global community!

By the way, in this box, you will find not only the base game but also the mini-expansion "Fossil Animals".

How to play?

A game of encyclopedia lasts 6 rounds, during which players perform various actions by placing dice on the game board. Starting with the first player, participants draw 4 dice from a bag, then roll them to determine the value of each die and place them in any order on their personal board without changing the rolled values. After that, the action phase begins. There are several actions in the game, and each can be performed more than once:

• Visiting the embassy
• Visiting the bank
• Visiting the university
• Visiting the academy
• Sending an expedition
• Publishing research results

To perform any action, a die must be placed in the corresponding cell on the game board.
