42 Projects in Scratch 3 for Young Programmers

The book is based on the experience of teaching programming in the Scratch language in a club for young programmers and has been tested on a hundred children aged 7-12 years. The material is designed for independent study of Scratch by students in grades 2-5, who have basic computer skills, without the help of adults. The accessibility of the presentation will allow children to immediately start creating engaging projects, and the author’s inherent humor will make this activity enjoyable. A large number of projects and tasks for creative independent work will help creatively apply the numerous possibilities of Scratch. Young programmers will learn about logical and mathematical operators, loops and conditions, and will learn to create funny drawings and patterns, musical projects, cartoon animations, and fun games that will work on all devices: smartphones, tablets, and computers. For children of younger and middle school age.
