Trap for Women

A Trap for Women is an exploration of the problem of neopatriarchy, where the sex industry has flourished and the objectification of women has consequently become popularized. It is impossible to change the system from within it. However, women in patriarchy have always been outside of it. It is impossible to address the issue of female oppression by discussing it with men and seeking compromises. Yet women still believe that this is the only way out. The situation is as comical as if an ancient slave approached a patrician and said: Please stop hitting me, exploiting me, and equating me to an object! After all, I am a human. Let's discuss it; maybe you will grant me some rights? A man, who is himself the source of female oppression, cannot be an active party in resolving this issue. Bloody Seamstress is the pen name of the author and feminist. The first book Feminism: Visibly. A Big Book about Women's Revolution was written as part of the Feminism: Visibly project in collaboration with Anna Ivanova and warmly received by readers. The sharp and simultaneously sobering perspective of the author on feminism has helped many to take off their rose-colored glasses and see reality as it is.
