In ancient times, riddles could explain natural phenomena and what surrounds us. Riddles can often be found in fairy tales: they test the main character. Nowadays, riddles are excellent aids in the development of a child: they reveal the richness of the Russian language, and develop resourcefulness and ingenuity.
