Three Times Lucky

Meet Mo, a soon-to-be sixth grader, almost an honor student, and a natural detective. Mo has a whole summer ahead of her! She will engage in karate and fishing with her best friend Dale, help Colonel and Miss Lana, who are raising her, at their family café, and continue her search for her mother (newborn Mo was found on the riverbank eleven years ago, and her story remains a mystery).

However, everything turns upside down when a murder occurs in their quiet town, detective Joe Starr takes on the investigation, and Dale finds himself under suspicion. Mo and Dale set up their own detective agency to track down the killer and clear Dale's name. But in the process, they also uncover secrets about their own lives.
