Ice and fire of Tartarus, the Guardians of Lower Tartarus… They are those who are dangerous not only to the Light but to Darkness itself. Hatred has suppressed their minds. The Tartarians recognize no one's authority, poorly execute orders, and tear apart their own with no less pleasure than that of outsiders. Their bodies are invulnerable to any weapon, and only the magic of Light can harm them in any way. They are undesirable even for Ligula… But it seems the time has come to use the denizens of hell for their intended purpose. The head of the Dark Office has unleashed several guardians into the Upper World. He will not rest until he has taken the head of Mephodius and dealt with Arey and Daphne… If the Tartarians act swiftly, the plan could very well succeed! The First Eidos When darkness wants to take the most precious thing you have, it will stop at nothing. Thus, Mephodius, having fallen into Ligula's cunning trap, receives a "gift" - the dhark, the main artifact of all dark guardians. Meph realizes that he has no choice: live, but take another's eidos, or remain true to yourself, but lose your own life, for "…the dhark must receive the first eidos or it will take yours." Meanwhile, the head of the Dark Office has a new favorite – a mysterious girl in scarlet…
