The continuation of a unique epic fantasy about a magical people hiding in the Northern forest, by Russian writer Mira Salyé. Especially for those who love vast worlds, battles, dark magic, and fans of grand fantasy with peoples fighting against evil and dark forces, in the spirit of Victoria Aveyard, Leah Arden, and Peter Jackson's films!
Now Keith is the dark king of Malnborn, Helien Malnsen, the heir of the ancient ruler Manus. In his hands are power and might, a potent magical force, and by his side is his beloved fiancée Areya. But the shadows of the past haunt the king in dreams and in waking life. A dark entity, a whisper in his head, strange thoughts overwhelm his mind. When the king of men, Finn Dearsen, mysteriously disappears, Helien immediately sets out to find his friend. Infighting among the human people is a real threat to Malnborn, and Helien feels weakened, unable to confront the true enemy. He longs to reclaim the legacy of his ancestors but fears to trust even himself.
The cycle is cinematic, like a movie: opening the pages, you immediately enter the magical Oglam with several kingdoms: Hadingard, Tasfil, Dallan, Bolder, Malnborn... In the last one lives the unique people of Malnov, divided by a long war into light and dark. Shadows, the Twilight Lands, smergles – in Oglam, the veil between the two worlds collapses, plunging chaos onto the shoulders of all who fight for the light! Will Helien be able to save his kingdom from evil without losing his sanity and Areya, the love of his life?
Amazing design: colored endpapers, a detailed world map, and a glossary!
